ceramitec Round Table

The ceramitec Round Table Talks have developed to become a major tool and indicator for future trends in the international ceramics scene. The 11th edition held under the title New Markets for Technical Ceramics, Powder Metallurgy and Carbon, organized by Messe München GmbH and cfi – ceramic forum international, took place at the Messehaus of Messe München on October 13, 2017.

Invited guests were experts from the market segments of Technical Ceramics, Powder Metallurgy and Carbon. Participants exchanged their experiences and views about development trends and market opportunities for technical components made of these materials.

ceramitec has been operating under the slogan Technologies-Innovations-Materials since 2012 and has been steadily expanded from the trade show for ceramic process engineering and related powder technologies (powder metallurgy and carbon) by successfully integrating the broad-based portfolio of components made of Technical Ceramics. The raw materials, additives and powders that are required for this have always been an important exhibitor segment of ceramitec. Since Technical Ceramics are in competition with products made of non-ceramic materials, benchmarking is required, and the integration of materials segments with a similar focus is one of the objectives of the trade show organizers.
